1. Sorry, I'll have to miss the party. Something urgent came up at work and I have to stay late. I'll make it up to you, I promise.
2. I've gone through the report. It looks pretty good overall, but there are a few things that need tweaking. Let's discuss the changes at lunchtime.
3. The weather looks great for a hike tomorrow. If you want to join us, text me. Bring plenty of water. We are meeting at the train station at 7am.
4. About the argument we had last weekend. I'm really sorry about how things turned out and I want to make it right. Please, find some time next week to hear me out.
5. I can't find parking anywhere close and I have a meeting. Please come out and take the shopping so I can make it back to work.
