I won’t be going on the trip, after all. I had a fever that I managed to get rid of, and then my parents wanted to ground me because I didn’t hand in my book report on time, so I worked all night to complete it. Once I finally finished, a snowstorm closed the roads and that was that. So come over to cheer me up.
