Clever Charlie
Charlie was (0) about to go to bed when he saw a light was in his garden shed and noticed some people stealing his things. He called the police, and an officer asked him: "Are the burglars in your house?", toCharlie replied: "No". The policeman said that all patrol cars were busy and that he would come when one was free. "Alright," Charlie answered. He waited a minute and called again. "Hello, I called a minute because of the burglars in my shed. I just shot them."
In five minutes, three patrol cars arrived, and the burglars were caught. The policeman said angrily: "I thought you said you had shot them!" "I thought you said were no patrol cars free!" Charlie replied.
