Why are fairy tales important?
'Once upon a (0) ______' is the usual introduction to a fairy tale. A child who reads or listens to them imagines something that happened in the past. One of the main reasons why fairy tales are important is that they help in a child's character (25) ______. In this way young children are able to better understand the world around them.
As adults we still remember the fantasy lands and fantastic characters such as kings, fairies and princesses who (26) ______ our life from an early age. Lessons about life are portrayed through these characters.
